Hamburg NY: Please join us on Saturday April 20, 2024 for the one and only Village of Hamburg Sesquicentennial 5K! The active and vibrant Village of Hamburg is turning 150 years old and this will be a celebration of the amazing destination the Village has become! All funds raised will go right back into our Village by helping to fund events during our birthday celebration weekend June 28-30 and to groups and organizations helping to enhance the life of Village residents and visitors.

Commemorative Sesquicentennial 5k t-shirts guaranteed to everyone who registers by Thursday April 10th at 9pm. A small quantity of extra shirts will be ordered and distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis. Post race celebration details will be shared as they are confirmed.

RACE DAY REGISTRATION & PACKET PICKUP
Race day registration and packet pickup will take place outside of Union Pleasant Elementary School on Union St. race morning from 8:30am until 9:50am. The race starts at 10am!

EARLY PACKET PICKUP OPTION:
We will also be offering an early packet pickup option on Friday April 19th from 4-6pm outside of Rise Fitness.

5K Registration Fee
> 12 and under: $15/$20 after April 8th
> 13 and older: $35/$40 after April 8th

START/FINISH
5K START TIME 10AM: The race will start and end on Union Street in the Village of Hamburg. The course has been USATF certified by Jeff John from BuffaloRunners.com (VIEW COURSE MAP).

POST RACE CELEBRATION
Post race awards will take place at the tent located at Union Pleasant Elementary School. A post race party will follow at Rise Fitness, located at 97 Main St, and will include free protein bagels and 1/2 price smoothies.

PARKING
There is plenty of free parking throughout the Village including the municipal parking lot and Union Pleasant Elementary parking lot.

AGE GROUPS & AWARDS
Trophies will be presented to the 1st place overall male and female finishers plus age group medals as outlined below. Custom finisher certificates showing race stats and age group rank can be downloaded and printed after the race via the RESULTS button at the top of this page.

10 and under, 11-12, 13-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and up.

CANCELLATION POLICY
There will be no refunds. In the event of foul weather, public safety concerns, or for any other reason deemed necessary by race organizers (ex: state of emergency, etc), we reserve the right to postpone/reschedule the event at our discretion or offer a virtual alternative if necessary.

TIMING & FINISH LINE SERVICES
Professional timing & finish line services using industry leading Jaguar Electronic RFID timing will be provided by Race Management Solutions. Results are updated throughout the race in real time and can be accessed at any time after crossing the finish line using any one of the following options:
